It's New Years Eve and I am putting the finishing touches to Blanket #7. The picture will be posted when I get a chance.

I’m one more blanket closer to goal, yahoo! I’m not sure about you, but do you prefer to work with certain colours? My personal preference is bright colours; hence this Red Heart Prints yarn has been sitting in my stash for a couple of years. When I found it at a clearance warehouse on sale for $1.59 per ball that was all that mattered at the time. Each time I use the variegated yarn I’m certain I’ve finally used it up only to discover a few more balls lurking in my stash. I swear it multiples in the night, but this time I’m positive I only have 1-2 balls left. Goodness knows what I will make with the remaining variegated yarn as it’s been a challenge finding contrasting yarns. However for this blanket I believe the celery green and raspberry colour yarns blend in quite well with the print. Where has the year gone? It’s hard to believe that today is the first day of December! I’m way behind in my personal challenges. Oh well, there’s been a lot going on this year. However I must admit that I have quite a number of WIP (works in progress). I have several blankets in various stages of completion. If I finish those off then I am very close to goal. Let’s see if I can make it at least two-thirds of the way to goal for both the blankets and slippers. Stay tuned.
