Have you ever purchased yarn and wondered later what were you thinking? That’s what I think about this orange/red variegated yarn and the pink/green combination from the last blanket of 2013. At the time it seemed a no-brainer to stock up when I found the pounders for only $1.59/ball, but I swear it seems like the stash of these colours will never diminish. Just when I think I’ve finally through the yarn I find another stash of it, I swear the stuff multiplies in the middle of the night. :-)
Blanket #1, yahoo!!! I decided to get at least one blanket behind me before I had to seriously start studying for my next set of exams. Going forward the pace for completing my projects will totally be determined by my study schedule so stay tuned to see how I’m doing.

Here’s the final tally for my 2013 personal goals ... 11 blankets and 12 hats for charity.
It’s a New Year and time to wipe the slate clean and start afresh. I will set the same personal goals as last year... 12 blankets, 24 prs of slippers and 20 hats. I have a number of WIPs so hopefully I will be able to complete those projects over the next few months. While I won’t have weekly classes I still have a full exam to write in a few months so I will be juggling my crafting time again this year. Keep checking back to see the status of my crafting goals. Tah dah... here it is, the last blanket of 2013, blanket #11. The calendar just wasn’t on my side allowing me time to complete one additional blanket to reach goal. Oh well, maybe next year.
