I’m fortunate in that my job allows me to work remotely, but none of us thought that we would be busier than when we were in the office. I had taken a bit if a hiatus from crocheting but a combination of the orders to remain at home, to social distance, and the increased work stress has led me to picking up my crochet hook again. I’ve been stitching donated squares into blankets. The number of unfinished projects was scary, but I’ve been tackling them one at a time and sometimes modifying the original pattern just for the sake of finishing the blanket. My new “home office” sits close to a portion of my yarn stash, so I daily I have a visual reminder that I have a lot of work ahead of me.
While we gradually wait for things to morph into the new “norm” whatever that will look like, stay safe.
