I call it my “Squares gone wild” project. During the summer I thought it a great idea to concentrate on small squares since I don’t have air conditioning. I dragged out my stash and merrily went about making centres, bordering them in the white, then adding the final part of the daisy petals. It was a mindless task. It wasn’t until I started to assemble the squares that I realized how carried away I had gotten in making these squares. I’m 3 rows from completing the second blanket and I still have tons of squares, in different stages of completion to go. I suspect I have enough for another full blanket. These are truly my “Squares gone wild” blankets... :-)
