If this never ending heat wave continues for much longer it looks like my crochet projects will put on hold or at least take a whole lot longer to complete. Yesterday, July 21st was the hottest on record, 37.9 C (or 100.22 F) and with the humidex 50 C (or 122 F). Without A/C at home it was dicey. Anyhow today it’s much better with the predicted high of 33 (91.4 F) and a humidex of 40 C (104). Heh it’s all relative. So for anyone keeping count of how I’m doing with my personal blanket and slipper challenge even though I working on a couple of blankets right now it will be a while before they are completed because it looks we face at least another week of this crazy heat. Handling anything more than one square at a time is just too hot.
