If you look back on a previous post you will see where I recently spent time learning how to do Bavarian Crochet. I took the piece that I was working on and expanded it to create a large granny square. Bavarian Crochet looks nice but it uses a lot of yarn and I found it to take considerable more time to work up a piece. I had planned on making the blanket a bit larger but I didn’t have a sufficient quantity of the purple to continue on the rotation of colours sequence I had created. That the problem when you use yarn that was purchase a while ago, sometimes it is no longer available :-(
Yahoo, I’ve completed blanket #5! If I can continue this pace I’m on target to finish 12 blankets by the end of the year. It will be even better if I can surpass my yearly goal.
