4 blankets down, 8 more to my yearly goal. This latest blanket was actually a kit that was given to me a few years ago. If you take a look at the cover of the kit you can easily see that the final blanket is far from the kit design. The kit supplied 4 balls of yarn but I wasn’t sure it if would be sufficient for the called afghan. I crochet loosely and the worse thing would be to run out of yarn part through the blanket. Besides, single crochet is not my thing...LOL So erring on the side of caution I made a series of squares and joined them as I went. With the remaining yarn it was simply double crocheting round and round. |
